3. Hound
Hound shotgun is a gun that does not live up to the title of a shotgun. Do not get me wrong, it is not a bad gun by any means, but it certainly does not scale up to the other shotguns. Hound’s damage is the most out of the three shotguns, which is good until you can land a shot.
The problem is that it takes its own sweet time aiming, and after a shot, it reloads a round. Both of these factors combined slows the player down a lot. Its accuracy is the lowest among the shotguns. Even with the attachment, only the stability increases.

2. Ancient Star
Ancient Star is a secondary weapon for any player. Ancient Star has been nerfed with the latest update, wherein they reduced the damage output. Though it has been nerfed, the damage output is still sound. The problem is that it shoots two rounds and then reloads, but that’s the play. It aims and shoots quickly.
One player can first reduce the enemy’s health with the gun’s powerful shots; even one is enough to get considerable damage and then switch up to the primary weapon like any SMG to get the rest of the shots. You can wait to reload, but we all know switching the gun is faster than reloading.
Ancient Star is already a solid shotgun, which many players previously used to prefer due to its sheer damage, but with the new update, it seems unfair to the gun. As its popularity continues declining, I only wish its damage increases again.

Fanatic is arguably the best shotgun in the game. It was highly contested until the recent update when the Ancient Star was nerfed. Going by the stats, the damage output per hit is the lowest, which might put off many players, but where Fanatic shines the most is in its rate of fire, stability and accuracy.
Fanatic has the most accuracy among shotguns, which can be increased to a very high level with the right attachments. With the right attachments, the stability also rises to a high level. Unlike the Ancient Star, Fanatic can be used as a primary weapon.
Fanatic has a higher rate of fire and is quick to aim. It is perfect for close-quarter combat; even if you miss, you have a more prominent magazine that lets you shoot faster. What it lacks is damage, but it makes up in magazine and rate of fire. Many players use this shotgun to get quick kills.
